Ronald Plotka, DDS


Dr. Ronald Plotka earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Principia College, and completed dental school at St. Louis University. Dr. Plotka began his dental career in the United States Air Force, serving as Captain of the Air Force Dental Corps. After his military commitment, he began his private dental practice in Swampscott and has been a Northshore dentist for over 40 years. He is currently a guest lecturer at Tufts University School of Dentistry, where he was a faculty lecturer and teacher for ten years. Dr. Plotka has many highlights from his illustrious career, including lecturing nationally, consulting with the New England Patriots football team, founding Mouthwatchers Corporation, and raising over $25 million for charity in the “Smiles for Life” program. Dr. Plotka is a member of the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Society of Osseointegration, the American College of Oral Implantology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
